Immune Compromised Households

At GAHC, we tailor each individual patient’s care all while taking into consideration the special needs of the entire human family. When a household has a person with an immune compromised condition or disease, this changes the protocol for pets in order to help keep your family protected. Immune compromising diseases or conditions include but are not limited to the following: alcoholism, addictions, diabetes, organ transplants, cancer and chemotherapy, pregnancy, the very young and the elderly. Please let us know if someone in your household is immune compromised so we may provide the best possible care.
